WFRT's Training Unit     

Strategy:

Our work is structured in national programs concentrating on Human Rights NGOs,

women organizations, journalists , maintaining a continuous contact with our partner/client,

 and jointly planning, organizing, and implementing program activities.

There is, of course, a close coordination between some regional capacity-building programs,

and there are several areas where we need to work at the global level, especially on gender ,

human rights issues, and also on developing and testing of the generic training materials and

handbooks, sharing of innovative approaches, data-bases and directories of capacity-building

institutions, global networking and others. At the same time, however, working closely with

partners and clients in the region is the corner-stone of our strategy.

The Training Unit's Goals

The overall goal is to build the capacities of NGOs and strengthen specially human rights

organizations in terms of Human Resource Development, improvement of the Managerial

and Organizational capabilities of local NGOs and through provision of Training, Consultancy

 and Advisory services.

The Training Unit at WFRT spearheads the implementation of the whole training Program
