During the next two weeks starting Nov. 25 WFRT participates in the international campaign for the elimination of violence against women. In these meetings, WFRT is presenting working papers and studies in the context of WFRT contribution to eliminating violence against women locally and internationally.
WFRT joins to the World AIDS Day campaign 17-11-2008
On the occasion to mark the World AIDS Day 2008, and guided by the slogan "Stop AIDS: Keep the Promise" and the year's theme "Leadership", Women's Forum for Research and Training in collaboration with Progressio are organizing a special stakeholders meeting on the 23rd November 2008 to commemorate the World AIDS day. In this meeting, we shall review our progress of the HIV and AIDS work for the outgoing project period 2007-2008.
WFRT Organizes a Barbers Training Course 19-10-2008
As a part of Fighting against AIDS program, WFRT is organizing the ninth training course which involved twenty persons of those working in the barbershops aiming to increase participants’ awareness about HIV/AIDS and improve their communication skills.
